House Shows?

So I think we may start having house shows at my home. We've had a few, but the last one that we had was somewhat of a success. Lineup: New Science Projects, Daniel Folmer, Delmore Pilcrow, Tex Winters (ft. members of Sarah Reddington), and RTB2.

It was really great, and everyone sounded wonderful. This may start happening more often.

Man Man & Modest Mouse

I was surprised that Modest Mouse wasn't as terrible as I'd imagined them being after their latest album. Surprisingly enough they didn't play TOO many songs from their latest.

AND

They played Alone Down There.

Man Man played for about 30 minutes and needless to say I was a bit disappointed.

Architecture in Helsinki

Man I was pretty excited about this show two months ago, but as the show got closer and I finally heard their new album that excitement turned into somewhat of a "Oh god...did I really pay $15 to see this...AT HAILEY'S of all places?"

And then when the time came...

They sucked.

So much.

I would imagine that instead of spending so much time designing their ultra cool hipster gear for the merch booth that maybe they would practice, but I guess music is about the sweet merch now?

I still had a good time despite how awful they were because Dale and I found a kickball with a jack-o-lantern printed on it while we were walking around the square waiting for Arch. to start.

Man Man & the Extraordinaires

Best show I've been too...possibly ever?

It's definitely up there.

My head is hurting.

Dale and I will be driving to Norman Oklahoma on November 16th to see Man Man again.

Casiotone

was so wonderful the other night.

Here's a video of Casiotone with the donkeys performing in a church.

It's neat.
